I've gone through the motions each day. Get up, eat, class, work, eat, work, sleep. Same ol', same ol'. But as I've been at college for 78 days now I've realized that there has GOT to be more that this to college! I mean, yea there's an occasional party and fun things to do on the weekends. And living so close to L.A., the possibilities are endless! But still... I feel something's missing. I don't know what it is, and I've spent too long thinking about it.
So alas, I digress.
I really miss my boyfriend. I really miss loving him and showing him I care. For his 18th birthday I took him the the Boulder Dinner Theater to see their production of Peter Pan. It was so wonderful! It was definitely one of the best days of my life. After the musical we went to "Fascinations".
Really? I actually need to tell you what "Fascinations" is? No. I didn't think so.
I'm going to tell you anyways! It's an 'adult store' that sells everything from sexual party favours to dildos and vibrators to DVDS to costumes and outfits. It's one of the most elaborate 'adult stores' I've ever been to. In fact, it IS the most elaborate 'adult store' I've ever been to! And yes... I've been to more than one.
But alas, I digress.
After the 'adult store', we rented a video from Red Box (a local $1/night rental booth) which is outside a grocery store. I ended up buying him a dozen red roses and a box of chocolates. We ended the night by falling asleep in each others arms, whispering adorable things to each other. What better way to end your birthday??
These are things I miss. Falling asleep in each others arms, romping in the snow, watching movies such as TRON and Moulin Rouge.
Again, I digress.
For these are memories that I keep secret and sacred. To quote Gandolf the Gray, "Keep it secret, keep it safe." I pull them out when I'm having a bad night and they are my umbrella on a rainy day. So I'm going to have to be selfish and keep them to myself this time. Anywho.. it's getting late. Or should I say early?... Either way it's 2:17 am. I bid you adieu, goodnight, and farewell!
